Have you ever started a diet on a Monday full of hope, and found yourself back where you started a few weeks later? Then this is for you.
You know the drill. Smaller portions. A little hungry most of the day. A running total of numbers in your head. Some weight comes off at first, then life gets busy, the hunger wins, and the pounds find their way back. And somehow it always feels like your fault.
Tracey Trimmer knows that feeling well. In her own words, she knows "what it feels like to be clinically obese and to have my life revolve around the next meal". She says it was miserable. But she also says something most diet gurus would never admit: she still loves her food.
That one question is the heart of her program. Tracey says she lost sixty pounds with it and has kept the weight off for years. That is her own story, and everyone's results are different. What makes it worth reading is how she did it: without counting calories, without banning foods, and without living at the gym.
It was never your fault
Tracey's starting point is one that many people find a relief to hear. When it comes to struggling with weight loss, she says, you are not at fault.
Her argument goes like this. Many weight-loss companies sell products and services that help you lose a couple of pounds, but leave you needing them to keep the weight off. Stop paying the ongoing fees and the weight creeps back on. Then people blame themselves, and carry around guilt on top of the extra pounds.
Then there is the advice itself. Tracey has a list she calls the 5 "Fat-Making" Lies, five rules most of us have heard so often that we never question them.

The 5 "Fat-Making" Lies
- "You must eat fewer calories to lose weight."Tracey says cutting calories hard sends your body into what she calls "panic mode", so it holds on to fat. You may lose weight in the short term, but in her view much of it is water and muscle rather than fat, and it comes back once the diet ends.
- "You must eat low-fat food."Her view is that your body needs fat, the right kinds, and that "low-fat" products have done more harm than good.
- "You must go low-carb to lose weight quickly."Tracey says low-carb can't work over the long haul. You need carbohydrates for energy. In her words, "bread is actually your FRIEND".
- "You have to take fat-burning supplements."She calls supplements and fat-burning substitutes "USELESS", and says they can do more harm than good.
- "You must eat diet foods if you're serious."Tracey says many diet foods contain ingredients, such as high-fructose corn syrup, MSG and sugar alcohols, that can set off cravings for more of the same.
If you have tried any of these and wondered why they never seemed to last, you are in very good company.

Take A Look At The Trimmer MethodWhat she does instead
Tracey wrote her approach up as The Trimmer Method, which she calls "Your Diet-Free Weight Loss Solution For Life". It turns most diet rules on their head:
- No calorie counting. Not now, not ever.
- Eat more, not less. She talks about six meals a day, so you are never left hungry.
- No forbidden foods. When she says no food is forbidden, she means it.
- Carbs are allowed. Bread stays on the table, and you learn which carbs are the best ones to eat.
- Your feelings count too. The method looks after your appetite and your emotions, not only the food on your plate, and you decide when "enough is enough".
- No supplements, shakes or extreme workouts. Everything happens in your own kitchen, with real food.
Because nothing is banned, there is nothing to "fall off". Birthdays, holidays and busy weeks are simply part of life, not the end of your plan.
Eat more, ban nothing, and still lose weight?

A version for women and a version for men
The Trimmer Method comes in two versions, each written for the people reading it. The core ideas are the same, but the examples and the focus are different. Tracey also says the program has worked for people in their seventies, so age is no reason to rule yourself out.
It is all digital, so you can download it straight after you order and read it on your computer, or print it out and keep the recipes handy in the kitchen.
Three bonus reports come with it
- Fasting For Weight Loss & Detox (28 pages)
- Food Addiction: Breaking The Habit, on how to stop emotional eating (28 pages)
- Speed Up Your Weight Loss: Sculpt A Physique In Just 20 Minutes (47 pages)
The bonuses are listed as worth over $85 together. The program itself normally lists at $49.95 and is currently $37, as a one-time payment.
